Improv Queen Karen Ripley
Karen Ripley has been performing standup comedy and teaching improvisation to children and adults for over 25 years. She has been the in
house Improv teacher for Harvey Milk Institute, SF, Ca for the past 9 years. This witty, spontaneous, animated deadpan comedienne will have you laughing until you cry.
"Karen is one of the finest lesbian comics in the country. Her deadpan
delivery and rubber faced expressions belie a sharp-witted satirical edge to her very peculiar take on gay life... " ~QComedy Review SF 2003
"Ripley crystallized the evening... She tore up the crowd with one-liners" ~San Francisco Chronicle
"Karen Ripley was the story of the night. With a deadpan delivery rivaled only by Steve Wright and possibly Eeyore." ~Steve Palopoli, Good Times Newspaper
Walk Funny.com's Jennie McNulty
Fresh off her smash performance at this year's Dinah Shore event, LA's hot, rising, comedienne Jennie McNulty will be bringing her humorous views of
life to Womynfest At Sea 2007. Jennie's act is truly unique, drawing from her personal experiences. As a somewhat undersized women's professional
football player: "Sometimes when faced with your biggest obstacles you find out what you're made of. I found out I bounce far." On spending time last
July entertaining the troups in Iraq: "Iraq in July... I've got my agent working on a north pole gig for the winter." "And, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The
soldiers are so dedicated and amazing but, let me tell ya, there's a little bit of pressure to be funny when your entire audience is armed with machine guns". On being one of the trainers on the NBC show
STARTING OVER: "People keep coming up to me and saying, 'Why didn't Jodi lose more weight?' I said, 'cuz her trainer's a comic? But you have to admit she was funnier after working out with me."
(AND, for the record, she lost 11 lbs in 2 months - very healthy) Jennie is a favorite performer of OLIVIA Cruises and Resorts, Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas and comedy clubs throughout the country. In
addition to NBC's STARTING OVER, she has been seen on Comedy Time, GOtv and the web series "Love Bytes." Check out the comic that The Detroit Free Press said is a "can't miss"!
Dinah Shore Weekend's Favorite Crazy Lady Poppy Champlin
If one were to cross the sweet grooving persona of Ellen Degeneres with Denis Leary's raunchy sarcasm, the result would be Poppy Champlin. Poppy erupts onto the stage without fanfare, but with enough energy to take
down the house in her first minute of comedy. Rapid fire jokes interspersed with comedic songs keep her audiences laughing and coming back.
Her stand-up pedigree is flawless; from VH-1, to A&E, Oprah Winfrey and
Joan Rivers to her newest gig on Atlantis cruises she has earned a reputation of being one of the fastest witted female comediennes on either coast.
Orlando Gay Days' DJ Grace
For over ten years, DJ Grace has been "bringing the party to life"! With a
wide variety of music styles, professional mixing, and a fun and friendly approach that will have everyone feeling at ease and ready to let their hair down, Womynfest at Sea is ready to party!

Vocalist/Guitarist/Songwriter
Julie Clark
YOU'LL KNOW IT IN AN INSTANT.
Whatever it is that gives certain singer/songwriters real promise and broad appeal, Julie Clark has it.
It's her voice that wins you first... surprisingly vulnerable, sincere and somehow comforting. A
captivating sound that leads you willingly into her memorable, acoustic pop/rock songs.
Clark's award-winning songwriting matches the quality of her voice - clear, direct and full of emotion.
Her lyrics paint vivid images of love and lust, heartbreak and obsession, secret yearnings, and the struggle between temptation and commitment.
Since the self-release of her radio-friendly debut CD "Feel Free", Clark has quickly been gaining the attention of critics as an artist to watch. In May of 2004, she won the prestigious Kerrville New Folk
